Birthday, Dinner and PhD!
A few things has happened in the last week. So many stories to tell.
Last weekend we went to Zurich to celebrate my friend Andrea's 30th birthday. It was a great weather for an evening bbq! We have been telling Andri and Andrea that one day we will get a rice cooker for their house, because everything they come over to ours, they love the fact that it is so easy to make good rice without worries. So for their 30th birthday present we got them a rice cooker! What an Asian gift to give! And look how big baby Valeria has grown!

Then one Sunday evening our friend Kenneth (aka Kmon) and his girlfriend Mugi invited us for a Sushi a la Camerounies Dinner! First course was sushi and then second course was grill fish, plantains etc! It was great!!

Then this week was busy busy busy! A.H. has his public defense to prepare for Wednesday and my parents flew in from Moscow to attend it. My mom flew in on Monday evening and my dad was suppose to fly in Tuesday evening, however he missed his flight and so he flew in Wednesday morning.
My friend Cristina had kindly adopted my Attila for a few days while my parents were here, because they are allergic to animals.
A.H.'s public defense went well and he received his diploma that evening! I am so proud of him!
(Marc's supervisor Dr. Schlaepfer )

As tradition in his school, his colleagues played a little game to test if he should receive his degree! A.H. had to go fishing and the people in the room had to vote if his personality would change once he joined the banking world! It was really amusing!

After A.H. organized an apero for everybody to mingle and celebrate his PhD! Plenty of wine, cheese, dried meat and flown especially from Moscow made by Mama Khalis - curry puffs!

Later that evening the familia had dinner together!

My parents are back home now. It was great to have them around, their visit was too short but they said they will be back soon. I must buy a proper bed though next time for them. Every year I said I must by a new bed for A.H. and I hopefully this year it will happen soon!
