2007
Welcome 2007.
So A.H. and I had a wonderful and an adventure filled beginning of 2007. We decided for new years to drive from Geneva to Sarajevo to visit an old friend, like I had mentioned previously I think. So the photos are online on my flickr page, go and visit it if you like. I was going a bit over board taking photos of the food there. It was delicious. :)
So the trip to go took us crossing via the Mont. Blanc tunnel into France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and then Bosnia. The whole trip would have been even better if it wasn't for the fog we had the whole way. The trip back was longer. We left Sarajevo early morning and there aren't any highways built yet, well one bit as you entered the capital. But after that, it was one lane. On top of that there was ice on the way out of the Bosnia, but as the sun rose the roads got better. I slept most of the morning, only woke up in panic when A.H. made a drastic turn or something. Then it was 150km/hour all the way from Croatia to home. We also got sidetracked because in Italy they were redoing the highways and our GPS misguided us. Ah well.
So back in Geneva. Working away. Next week will be an event for me. Will tell you more about that later... (turn 30! eh hum...)
A.H. is in final mode in finishing his thesis, so loads of stress now. More stories later.
