tooo tooo tooo

It has been awhile since I last posted. I am a working girl now and have no time or energy when I come back to blog. But I do make it a point to check out my favorite bloggers and my personal emails. Only thing I can surf at work are the news sites. Stupid firewall. Well I suppose it is a private bank after all. Got to protect the secrets and not distract their employees.

Work is going ok. It is huge change from what I am familiar with. Everybody is always facing their computer and plugging away or on the phone yelling some numbers. Practically 98% of the department are smoker so there are a lot of smoking break or re charging their batteries as they call it. I am trying not to fall into that trap.
I am in this department for another 2 months and hopefully I will be in their communications department soon. My French however is improving. I just let it all out... who cares about grammar mistakes, just as long as they can understand me. Merde! Ha.

What else... Oh had friends visit me from Zurich. The Ganzonis. It was great to see them and their baby Valeria is growing! She eats mush carrots now.
Met up with Sarah Kenyon too and met her boy. I introduced them the beer in a column phenomenon.
I also met one of A.H.'s ex girlfriend from his school days in Kenyan who he hasn't seen in 15 years and we met her friends living in Geneva. It was one of those spontaneous nights where you get up in the morning with a hangover. (All photos will be in my flickr page later.)

On a sad note - today A.H. just told me his supervisor's wife died in a helicopter crash in Nepal while she was on mission for WWF. See link here. Very tragic.

Ok dinner time. A.H. is cooking stew. Yum. Weather changing need hearty food so tummy!
Oh and it is Ramadan... sigh I always miss my family and friends more around this time.
